I forgot to mention that Chris Otero has been arrested at least eight times (thats just the Roswell Police Department - no telling whether he has arrest in other jurisdictions or the Sheriff's Office or State Police). Arrests include crime like, Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property, TRO Violation, Child Abuse, Criminal Damage, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, etc., etc.

Should the Sheriff of Chaves County really be the Vice President of Chris Otero's club?

Does not add much credibility to the association does it.
Or will it affect the running of the Area 51 Dragway Association at all.
Just wondering.
By the way, what happened to the Callaways?

Xcel Energy Foundation grants $20,500,00 to local organizations while they are in the process of raising the electrical rates.

$8,000.00 goes to Keep Roswell Beautiful which will be used to fund Operations Green at the UFO festival which of course is Renee's play thing.

Renee does get along well with Sam and Sam will have a lot to do with to Xcel increase in rates I would guess.

Sam says "It's wonderful of Xcel Energy to give money back to Roswell and Chaves County, etc"

Along with the increase in rates there will be more franchise fees paid to the city.

During FY 2008 Xcel collected $560,557.00 from the folks in Roswell that passed on to the City. Perhaps that was the money that the golf course needed.
