I was already a believer because of my own experiences.
Here is an amazing story about an 11 year old boy who remembers his previous life right down to the names and places. Fantastic story!!

When you are born, you go to hell. When you die, you go to heaven.
Birth is the beginning of death. Death is the beginning of life.
Many religions believe in reincarnation. All this is in-depth religious spiritual beliefs very sensitive to many. The mystery of life is facinating.
Why is it that whenever people "recall" past lives they were rich, famous, courageous and/or powerful?
"He came back because he wasn't finished with something." - maybe he plans to drop a bomb on Japan, or "something".... :smk3:

They aren't always - I've read of many who were just ordinary people, some even dirt poor.
The mystery of life is facinating.
That it is - so much we don't know...

This is not my first time on this earth, when I was a child I had memories of events that I could not have experienced in this life. My constant questions annoyed my parents who would say no such things happened and to stop talking about it. The memories faded and I only have flashes of de ja vu. I do not remember being rich, famous or brave.
The general Patton could remember being on battle fields before. I read a book, Old souls, a few years ago about children who remember past lives. The library may still have it. If you never had memories of such things then you would have little reason to believe those that have.

Interesting, Alfdom, and very true - While I never believed in reincarnation in my younger days, I have had many experiences since then that have led me to believe in reincarnation.
Children have many memories we can't explain and see things that those of us accustomed to shutting those things out, don't see anymore, but probably once did.
Life's little mysteries....
Well, with well over 6,000,000,000 humans living on this Earth, most must not have had prior lives as humans...
... just syain' :no1:

If we are spiritual beings having a human experience instead of human beings hoping for a spiritual experience, then some things would not be impossible or seem unbelievable.
I know people who believe nothing they are told and only half of what they see. I do not expect people to belleve that I had memories of past lives. Most people I know decided they knew enough already and have no desire to learn much of anything else.
If we are just a collection of water and bones, who will only live the time our bodies live, then it does not matter what I believe.

I burned a version of that saying into a wood plaque for my daughter a couple years back. It went:
We are not human beings having a temporary spiritual experience,
We are spiritual beings having a temporary human experience.
I saw the saying somewhere and really liked it - hadn't thought of it in quite awhile.
If our minds were more open to and unafraid of what we perceive as scary or supernatural, we might learn life's lessons a bit more quickly.

Reincarnation? One ride on this roller coaster is enough for me, the rest of you can have as many turns as you want, but when its my time to get off, I aint getting back on.
