Rainbow said ...I get a bad attack of IBS, so I think they may be cooking things a certain way or doing something that irritates my bowel.

That is the way i get when I eat at the "Golden Corral" The final straw was the last time we, (My son,his wife and kids) My daughter-in-law loves strawberrys, She ate some strawberrys that were bad and did not make it to the bathroom. After she threw up. We left as several folks left at the same time. There was a lady there, that was pertty decent. She gave us our money back. Haven't been back there sense.

Thanks Rainbow. I try not to dwell on bad thing to much after it is over. If you do you will go crazy. Keep smiling,Folks will wonder what you are up to and it drives them crazy. GBS

I can't believe that happened to your family. You would think with as much turn over they seem to have with customers that their food would be fresh. How hard is it to visually go through your food to make sure that it is fresh instead of loading it with chemicals to make it last (in appearance that is). Aren't there any regulations that buffet restaurants must follow, I mean, come on food is exposed to people walking by coughing, sneezing ect. I find it very difficult to eat at any buffet.

Golden Corral never fails!

Although sometimes the food can get dry after sitting for awhile.

Try and go when it's busy :D

I don't go often because I find all you can eat places sort of a rip off, in that I can only eat so much so I never feel like I get my money's worth.

In other words...I can go order a specail meal for $9...or go to all you can eat, and basically I fill up on one plate of stuff but don't always feel the quality of the meal was worth $9.
