Note they do not require identification when you go vote. Look in the phone book and pick a name, recent obituaries, those that have moved...Go use those names and vote! And they wonder why some of us that love this country are on the verge of revolt, the system is a sham....O.L.
What happen to Billy Wood?

Where do we go vote? City Hall? Or are all the precincts open?

Scott, You have to go to your council ward polls. Look in the paper or I assume there is some where on-line that would tell you where. Better hurry and please do go vote! Ward II is Del Norte, don't know about the others.......O.L.

Got it done. Ward II was at Del Norte as stated above (even though the state website showed the Baptist Church on West Berrendo).
Go Billy!!
I also voted for Del Jurney. We'll see what happens.....

Yay, I'm glad you made it down to vote, Scott!
My husband said that KBIM radio (910 on the dial) was going to report the winners at about 7:30. I'm getting antsy now - maybe we should all go down to the Sally Port bar to either celebrate or drown our sorrows.....:smk3:

Okay, not the winners yet, but KBIM is reporting that they'll see good numbers by 8:00. That's what they're saying anyway!!

62% turnout to vote in Iraq under threat of violence. What was it in Roswell? 24%? The 75% who didn't vote should never compliain about city officials, etc. The apathy is very apparent and that works to the advantage of the entrenched city hall gang.
Is there more Democracy in Bagdad than in Roswell?

In Baghdad, voting is a new and exciting experience.
In this country, many people have forgotten what an honor and a privilege it is to be able to vote. Very sad.....:ohwell:
