Just read the RDR and it seems Mr Green has had a tuff few days, very tuff...........I wish him a speedy recovery & his family the best.

I don't think he has done very much for the 4th ward. Street repaving and lighting are needed in many areas. He has been a do nothing council member, a part of the wealthy old guard on the council.
I'd like to see him step down as soon as possible because of his recent medical problems

Although this has nothing to do with the posted question, Duane Green had been married to a lovely, very strong, courageous woman, Linda. I've no doubt he fought that long hard battle with her, one she ultimately lost. I do not know the man nor am I currently concerned about his community politics. I do feel great compassion for him. Unsure details of which story is correct, the one written in the newspaper or the one verbally told to a group of people that said: While cutting tree limbs at his home, he was stung by as many as 200 angry bees, hospitalized to medicate him with the needed antidote. He then suffered a stroke and is now undergoing extensive rehab. The latter indicates the stroke did him a lot of damage. I suggest this political topic be tabled until the outcome of his serious situation is known.

Life is full of trials and tribulation and being in politics does not allow people to stay in office if they cannot serve their time in the elected position. Common sense would say resign. Time to step down. bye
