Roswell police are investigating a larceny which occurred in the 1700 block of North Delaware. According to reports, the victim told officers she had a thousand dollars worth of twenty dollar bills in her nightstand. She told officers that when she counted it last she was missing 460 dollars. The victim suspects her tenants who have a key to her house may have taken the money. The victim wanted the remainder of the money fingerprinted but did not want the officer to take it with him. She agreed to bring the cash to the PD to have it printed.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of North Mississippi on the report of found property. According to the report, the calling party found various calibers of ammunition in a rent house she owns. The previous tenants were evicted and she wanted the ammo removed from the house. The items were taken to RPD to be booked into found property.

A burglary was reported in the 600 block of East 6th. Someone apparantly kicked in the door to a rental house and took three sets of mini blinds. Nothing else was reported missing.

A breaking and entering was reported in the 1100 block of East Alameda. Reports state that while the victim was away from his home with his caretaker someone broke into his house. Officers observed the deadbolt lock had been broken away from the door. Nothing was missing from the home.

A man walked away from Municipal court on Friday morning after being told by a judge that there was a warrant and he was to be arrested. According to Erica O'Brion of RPD the man was being taken to holding by a bailiff but instead of following the bailiff, the man walked out the front door. According to O'Brion, Bailiffs in Municipal Court have no arrest powers so the man was only being escorted. 25 year old Matthew A. Miller was still not in custody as of Friday afternoon. Officer O'Brion stated the man is not considered a danger to the community.
